Who We Are

Who We Are

Galit McCord

Galit McCord is a producer, entrepreneur, artist, and creative strategist whose work has moved across film, technology, music, and international business—bringing ambitious ideas from concept to global scale.

Early in her career, she was one of the co-founders of SRO Entertainment, a company that provided content to a major German film fund that went on to finance and support internationally recognized motion pictures, including the Academy Award–winning "Monster," starring Charlize Theron, and "Ask The Dust," starring Colin Farrell and Selma Hayek, which she co-produced with Tom Cruise.

She later expanded into technology ventures and policy initiatives across Europe and the United States, working at the intersection of innovation, media, and emerging platforms, as well as serving on the board of directors of JEFF Brands, before returning to creative development in film and television.

As a recording artist, she has released more than 30 singles and 4 albums, and received multiple awards and international chart recognition for her music.

In 2024, following the Nova tragedy, Galit McCord was named Director of Sanctuary Operations for the Nova international traveling exhibition, helping guide its global presentation and outreach, and was appointed as a Director of its US Foundation.

With Riding the Wave, she now brings those worlds together—combining creativity, emotional insight, and entrepreneurial vision in an exploration of the “Inner Sea” as a framework for emotional, spiritual, and human experience.

Jonas McCord

A man for all seasons, in the winter of my discontent.

For more than fifty years, Jonas McCord has wandered through the strange carnival of stage, screen, and television as a writer, producer, director, occasional journalist, reluctant public intellectual, and professional tilter at windmills. Along the way he survived a stint at ABC’s 20/20, won enough awards to confuse airport security, and somehow became one of the world’s leading voices on biometric weapons and smart-gun technology — even addressing the European Union on the subject, which proves civilization occasionally loses a dare.

Before all that, he was a child prodigy on the violin, performing concerts at the age of five, back when everyone still believed genius was a blessing instead of a warning label.

His career has included films, television series, historical dramas, political thrillers, documentaries, and the occasional nervous breakdown disguised as a screenplay. Somewhere in there he also managed to become a spectacular serial failure at marriage, though fortunately far more successful as the father of extraordinary children who continue to provide him with equal measures of love, humiliation, and unpaid technical support.

He is also, rather improbably, a first-time novelist. His debut nonfiction work, The United States of Amnesia, will be released this coming Fourth of July, on the 250th anniversary of the American experiment… assuming, of course, the flag is still waving by then.

He presently resides in Los Angeles, where, for reasons still under investigation, his last three wives have also chosen to live.
